Sweet South Island Singletrack

Join me on the next edition of my Sweet South Island Singletrack tour. 25 Nov-3 Dec 2023 will see us start with some classic singletrack in the Nelson region before traversing the mighty Heaphy Track over 2 days/1 night onto the West Coast. If that doesn’t put a big fat grin on your face, then our 2 day/1 night, 85km ride on the incomparable Old Ghost Road most certainly will. The OGR is, to my mind, the best overall MTB experience you can have - the track, the landscape, the huts and the overall insanity of it!
After being blown away by the OGR (hopefully not literally!) we will relax in Rough & Tumble Lodge, right at the end of the OGR, for the night telling tales tall and true before heading to Reefton for some old school MTB, if you’ve energy left. One last night and one final load of our bikes on the trailer and we drive back to Christchurch at the end of another cracking Sweet South Island Singletrack tour.
Comfortable twin share accommodation and mountain huts will be there at the end of each day as we rest up, reflect and refill. The tour is being run in conjunction with my good friends at leading NZ bike tour operator, Adventure South NZ.
